Naruki Doi

The former Second Doi, Naruki Doi has developed into one of the major league stars of Dragon Gate.

Debuting in the T2P promotion in 2000, Doi quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a member of Final M2K as he joined the Toryumon roster.

In 2004, Second Doi was reborn as Naruki Doi, and the newly named star soon became a member of CIMA’s heel Blood Generation.

The change of name lead to gold for Doi, as he won the very first Open the Brave Gate title, followed by the first Open the Twin Gate title as part of Speed Muscle with Masato Yoshino.

As Open the Dream Gate champion, Doi has had some of his most incredible victories, defeating the mighty Akebono in a title defence, and claiming the Open the Brave Gate title by defeating CIMA in a spectacular title v title contest.

Doi has also won gold in Pro Wrestling NOAH, as Speed Muscle became GHC Jr Heavyweight tag title holders in 2008, and in Ring of Honor with Shingo Takagi as a tag championship partner. Doi was also a participant in TNA’s World X Cup tournament.

As the man to beat in Dragon Gate, the World-1 member will be coming to the UK looking to cement his status as the top star in the promotion. Look for challengers to step up and try and defeat the current Open the Dream Gate champion on November 1st.

Masato Yoshino

Without a doubt the fastest wrestler on the planet, Yoshino is a man who has to be seen to be believed. There has never been a wrestler who could run the ropes as fast as Masato Yoshino, and on November 1st the cameramen and his opponents will have to work hard to keep up with him!

A member of the WORLD-1 group, and part of tag team Speed Muscle with Naruki Doi, Yoshino is one of the men who defines the exciting, all-action Dragon Gate style.

Yoshino first gained recognition (after a stint with a midget monkey named Venezia) as part of Milano Collection AT’s Italian Collection stable. The team gained popularity before splitting in 2003.

After Dragon Gate took over where Toryumon left off, Yoshino (then named YOSSINO) found a home in CIMA’s Blood Generation faction. After they split from the team, YOSSINO, Gamma and Naruki Doi formed the Muscle Outlaw’z.

Yoshino has also competed for Wrestling Society X with Genki Horiguchi as ‘Team Dragon Gate’, and in TNA’s World X Cup.

Yoshino has held numerous championships, including the GHC Jr Tag Championship with Naruki Doi, the Open the Brave Gate title, the Open the Triangle Gate Championship and the Open the Twin Gate Championship. Yoshino has also had a match of the year award from the Wrestling Observer newsletter for the six man bout he had with fellow Dragon Gate representatives in Ring of Honor in 2006.

If you want excitement and fast-paced action, you will be hardpressed to find better than Masato Yoshino. Just don’t blink on November 1st or you may miss him doing something spectacular!

We have scouted around for the best undiscovered talent and mixed that in with the experienced talents to put together the Live Event Officials. Here they are...

Ring Announcer
------------------

Larry LaRue
Oxfordshire based BAWA's ring announcer is one of the undiscovered gems in European Wrestling, while lacking the exposure of many other announcers, he certainly isn't lacking in the presence and charisma department. This 2 year pro is the staple of the BAWA events and adds an air of antisipation and excitement to the event before the opening bell has sounded. Will be sure to feature more promently after his appearance on November 1st.

Referees
----------

Andy Quildan
Argueably Europe's finest official. From officiating the Pro Wrestling Noah European Navigation Events to TNA's Portugal tour to Worldwide events with Nu Evolution Wrestling. Quildan is one of the most experienced referees on these shores in regards to world class talent. The multi-talented Southend native is once again called upon to keep order in what is sure to be some of the fastest paced, high flying, non stop madness action we will see this year.

Lloyd Parker
Trained at the 4FW Academy in Swindon, he has moved from his hometown in Devon to develop his skills and has been impressive in many outings for 4Front Wrestling in the last 18 months. This has put Lloyd on the Amerchandise rader and he will be assigned to the opening two matches and should their be a pre-show match, with the more experienced Andy Quildan watching over the final 3 matches.

The most spectacular high flyer in the world, from small halls to superstardom, Pac has electified fans worldwide and he returns home on a special night as a member of the Dragon Gate Roster, expect him to put on a show like never before!


Shingo
The Japanese Powerhouse and former Dragon Gate Champion is bringing his roughouse style to any competitor that dare step inside his battle ground, his brtal offence will be a force to contend with


Genki Horiguchi
The crazy but extremely charismatic Genki Horiguchi will bring everything (excluding his hair) to the Regal this November, despite being somewhat unloved at times in his homeland, he is one of the most beloved stars by the European Fans


Dragon Kid
The spectacular masked Dragon Kid is one of the most recongnisable faces of Dragon Gate world wide, his offence is breathtaking, his speed and quickness legendary and he will explode onto the UK this November


Kagetora
Part of the Warriors-5 stable, lead by CIMA, Kagetora is something of a new sensation within the ranks of Dragon Gate and will be looking to gain some worldwide acclaim with a very strong performance in his first European tour.


The Young Bucks
The daredevil highflying duo making waves in PWG, ROH and Dragon Gate in Japan, look to bring their spectacular offence to the UK on November 1st


Marty Scurll
The charismatic Cambridge native looks to make an impact on his first "Supershow" event, having just return from the US, his sights are set firmly on the Dragon Gate Invasion


Johnny Storm
Possibly the most consistant unsigned European performer in the last decade, the Wonderkid is set to show exactly why he was considered Europe's number one cruiserweight.
