BBC1 this Monday July 12th at 7pm.
The official report reads:
Gyles Branderth investigates the disappearance of Great British Wrestling from the small screen. In its heyday, Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks and Kendo Nagasaki became household names until 1987 when wrestling was suddenly axed. At a gym in Essex Gyles discovers that the sport is far from dead and even steps into the ring himself, for one night only.
Features appearances from current LDN stars Jon Ritchie, Hakan and Richard Parliament as well as Frank Rimer & Wayne Bridges.
