-2008 - My Year in Review-
by Tommy End

I seem to have time today so ill write this on and hopefully not make it to big.
Being that it is what is today, I wish you all a merry Christmas, go stuff your faces with stuffs.
At the end of the year I always look back for myself and just role through the year quick and take a second here and there to share are few notable points with you.

For the first time in a long time I've felt that I've a more accomplished wrestler and that im making progress in a fast way. I've learned so much this year by talking to the right people and studying that, ofcource being in awesome locker rooms and having good friends with a great mind for wrestling is good for your self growth, and growing in wrestling is still something I do with a lot of pleasure. I enjoy being a student of this sport and take great pride in this.

What was an awesome deal for myself is making my break through in England. IPW-UK was a great experience, even though the day I got there I had some issues im grateful I have such good friends in wrestling who take good care of me.

wXw, My home away from home. I feel that now teaming up with Zack im going to show a whole different Tommy End, especially since Im pretty much based as a singles wrestler. I enjoy still enjoy my time there and feel honoured to still be a strong part of the roster after 5 years of working for the Company. Especially to my fans there I thank you for supporting me and buying my stuff ;).

Then there's CWN, I always enjoy working for them, very polite and awesome people. I feel sorry that through my busy schedule I couldn't make more time free for some more bookings but we'll change that hopefully next year.

And last but not least ICWA. The company I enjoy so much, the fans, the backstage area and the people who run it are all in my heart. The way I get treated in France is always so good, Booster and Bulla Punk (who deserve a big shout out) always take good care of me and mine. And doing Revolution 5 was insane, wrestling in front of 2500 people (and of course insulting them ;) ) was a insane experience. Making a lot of new friends and especially a shout out to ms Serena Deep who isn't just a great wrestler but also a great personality. Be on the look out to see her coming back to Europe more often. I can't wait to see what France brings me in 2009.

I remember doing ICWA back in May and there was this Huge expo about European Pro Wrestling, the whole feeling of seeing that, seeing our roots, is something I will never forget and especially seeing my own picture in between of all those great wrestler is a accomplishment of great proportion.

Doing the Chikara tag grand prix with my partner for a weekend That N-word Jesus, Andrew patterson was a insane trip. I always enjoy being in the presence of Mike Quackenbush and knowing im one of his students is something to be proud on. I believe we did a great job, met good people and just great times all around.

And of course there was Pro Wrestling Holland. For those who don't know, pro wrestling in Holland is different and very difficult. The crowds aren't used to seeing this since the Dutch people are pretty sober minded it's hard to feed the "reality" of professional wrestling. But we gave great shows and in 2009 we planned almost 10 shows and 5 Underground shows.
Speaking of the Underground, Im so glad we designed a platform for young wrestlers and trainee's so that they can enhance there own product and skill. The idea of the Underground is simple, you're wrestling in a environment that is controlled and being looked at by more experienced wrestlers in front of a live audience so that the you are the one who benefits from this cause it's all about gaining experience and knowing where to improve in wrestling, so that's what we did.

So check www.prowrestlingholland.nl

Then there's HPW, even though they had a minor set back and only did one show this year it was still one of the best shows of the year. Great crowds, defiantly the best in Holland. People in the southern part of Holland are just more crazy then the up north Folk I guess.
They will be running in Dynamo Eindhoven 4 times in 2009 so keep an eye on www.hybridwrestling.nl and I'll see you there and let's hang out afterwards.

Last but no least the Pro Wrestling Showdown show. It was a concept thought up by B-wire and I believe it be a huge success and hopefully we can do bigger things next year and start planning early on 2009 so we can succeed in better way. Try to come back from time to time and check the prowrestlingshowdown.nl website for updates and new dates.

Further more I think it speaks for itself that pro wrestling is a difficult but rewarding business. Sometimes you need to see the forest before the tree's. That's basically the whole philosophy of wrestling, it's a simple on but it's the way I see it. Wrestling will kick you in the teeth 9 out of 10 times.. and just the one time that it doesn't that the reason im in this business.

I would like to thank all my friends, with a special shout out to Martin stone, Pac, the kartel Steve Douglas, Drake, Thumbtack Jack, Hate, Bad bones, Gary miller & Mom, Absolute andy, Chris Hero, Corey mason (douche!) Anthony Zeus, Marc End, Johnny Truant, Tengkwa & Rose, Wesley Croton, all the PWH rookies, Felix, Tas, jakobi, Marcus E, Booster & Bulla, the ICWA Rookies and staff, Mike Quackenbush, Big van Walter, Zack Sabre Jr, Marc roudin, Jannes, Vito, Ace Vicious, Serena Deeb, Emil Sitoci, Gabriel Angelfyre, Maaike, Revolution Purple, Robbie Brookside, Doug Williams, Johnny Saint and Johnny Kidd for being the great people that you are and being there on my path.

And ofcource Sacha ;)

Thank you

Let's go nuts in 2009.
