On Sunday January 13th, RQW will make it's debut in Northfleet with a spectacular night of action. From highflying, to first class womens' action, to technical precision and vicious streetfighting, the Fleet Leisure & Sports Club will be home to top-notch wrestling action.
The event will be highlighted by what promises to be one of the more brutal encounters in RQW's history as two members of the feared Knight family, patriarch Ricky and The Zebra Kid will clash in a violent streetfight against two men who they have targeted over the past few months, The RQW Heavyweight Champion Martin Stone and Brett 'The Kraft' Meadows. Each of the four have a history against each other, and have had violent encounters in the past on RQW shows, as well as shows up and down the country. January 13th could see the culmination of their hatred for one another, or it may just see the stakes raised even further than anyone could have imagined.
For much of her time in RQW, Jetta has wanted a shot at the RQW Women's title. Whether held by The Jezebel Eden Black or Wesna, Jetta has made it her goal to make the champion's life miserable in her quest to become champion. On January 13th, Jetta will get that shot. Will she be able to capitalise, or will the dominant Croatian champion be able to counter her devious tactics?
Talking of people who will get their shot on January 13th, Spud has been out for revenge on "The Bombay Dream" Ross Jordan after Jordan left Spud high and dry in a tag match last year. Ever since, They’ve been taunting each other at every opportunity, and on January 13th, Spud will be out to get even with Ross Jordan for all he has endured from the Bombay Dream.
In number one contenders action, "The Specialist" Mark Sloan will face Zak Zodiak. After losing to “The Heretic” Red Vinny last month in Dartmouth, The RQW board agreed that despite Vinny’s comments about Zodiak not needing to be a #1 contender for another shot, he would have to hold a #1 contenders position for another attempt at the RQW cruiserweight gold. Zodiak promptly challenged Sloan to put his contendership on the line, and Sloan agreed. Both men are hardhitting and athletic, and this contest to determine who will face champion Red Vinny is sure to be nothing short of spectacular.
Team Charming have been ordered to defend their RQW tag titles in a mandatory title defence, and will be on hand to do just that. As yet, their opponents have not been announced, but RQW officials have assured worthy contenders will be facing the champions on January 13th.
The 1PW Openweight Champion, “The Pukka One” Darren Burridge will get the chance to pit his technical skills against one of the masters, British wrestling legend Johnny Kidd, under traditional British wrestling rounds rules.
