Chickight, Shimmer and...

So a little update on what I have been up to recently, Well here in England we had a terrible summer! The only one day I can think of that was really good was one Sunday in Great Yarmouth I spent the day on the beach and went on a trampoline on the beach it was A LOT of fun! I had fun working the WAW shows in Yarmouth this summer they have the best slush puppies at that venue.

I wrestled on what was the last Chickfight show of 2008 in August. I wrestled Jezebel Eden Black, which was a lot of fun; I do really miss the days when the two of us used to wrestle all the time so it was cool to get to wrestle again even if it was only one match! But who knows maybe there will be more! I also tagged with Wesna against Team Blossom who have the best entrance music ever! I am jealous! It was also cool to be on Wesna’s side watching her beat people up.

In October I went alligator hunting in Florida… this was very scary at first, I didn’t think that it could possibly be legal to hire out a little canoe and row yourself down a river full of alligators but apparently it is! Thankfully I had Rain and Lexie in my boat and they have both done it before. Lexie was very good at making us go in the right direction and helping us avoid logs. Rain was ok but she was distracted by turtles too easily! Ohh and spiders a lot dropped into the boat massive ones and one landed on her back very scary! I saw some HUGE alligators pretty close up so that was really cool, as it doesn’t happen all that often in the C.O.V. While in Florida I also went to Busch Gardens which was really good the rides there are wicked, I forget the name of the biggest one but its on of the best I’ve ever been and I would recommend anyone to go there. But if you do DON’T go on the wooden rollercoaster that was just painful!

Then I also went to Chicago for Shimmer but me and Rain flew out early to do some stuff, I went to a concert we went to see Five-finger death punch. Well it was an experience I saw my first mosh pit and I still don’t get it. I tried veggie food and ate the best pancakes ever! Shimmer was a lot of fun and I was very impressed that someone made me a Hannah Montana sign!

I was abit gutted the other week as one of my favourite venues got closed down, the Corby Arts Centre ran by SLAM wrestling. I LOVED wrestling there always a really good crowd. But due to all of the flooding that’s been going on the venue got flooded and apparently it was beyond repair even though the venue itself wasn’t in bad condition. But onwards and upwards as SLAM have added a lot of new venues to their loop in 2009 and I’m looking forward to them finding a new Corby.

Also I wrestled for SWO in Germany, I have a newfound hate for Ryanair! After ten minutes in the air on the way to Germany they turned around the plane to land back at Stanstead as there was something wrong with the plane, so we landed to be surrounded by fire engines! Great job on those pre flight plane checks guys! To be fair they did put us right onto another plane so I didn’t miss the show, being subjected to the Ryanair theme for 30minutes was not fun.

A new promotion just opened up in Coventry called AMP wrestling I wrestled on their first show and it was fun a lot of good wrestlers on the show, they also had a live band so if you’re in the Coventry area you should look them up!

Another new promotion I worked for Wrestlemidlands is another promotion you should check out if you’re in the midlands area again a lot of good wrestlers on there shows one of my favourites Mad Man Mason(thanks for helping me sing happy birthday!) And a great new wrestler Derrice Coffee.

So that’s about it for now!
