IPW:UK Putting On An AMAZING Christmas Cracker For One And All December 16th – RINGSIDE Tickets Almost Sold Out!

» Last year in December we saw the crowning of new IPW:UK Tag Team Champions, as Swiss Money Holding came atop of the Tag Team division on their IPW:UK debut.

This year another IPW:UK debutant with world-wide credentials will make his way to our ring, as none other than British World of Sport era legend JOHNNY SAINT challenges current IPW:UK Champion ANDY BOY SIMMONZ for the gold!

But that is definitely not all – we have for you two MASSIVE British National Championship matches, PLUS, the IPW:UK debut of Ring of NWA World Jr. Heavyweight Champion and RoH/CHIKARA star Mike Quackenbush!!

Get your tickets SOON as Ringside has almost SOLD OUT!

Massive IPW:UK Tag Title Match Signed!

» There is one tag team contest that IPW:UK have been trying to sign for many months now, and that is one pitting the meanest former IPW:UK Tag Team Champions and high ranking tag contenders, The Untouchables (Jack Storm/Dave Moralez) up against the current IPW:UK Tag Team Champions The Kartel (Sha Samuels/Terry Frazier).

Back in the middle of the year, IPW:UK tried to sign the match two consecutive months, but were unable to do so due to scheduling conflicts. Then, a version of the bout (6-man action) was signed for last month, only for it to be cancelled at IPW:UK’s end, and The Untouchables’ suspension to be extended.

They return to IPW:UK on December 16th though, as Martin Stone takes on Stixx in the British National Championship, and Jack Storm and Dave Moralez challenge in two on two action against The Kartel for the IPW:UK gold!

Romero/Anderson Off Of The Christmas Cracker!

» It is with regret that IPW:UK today announce that American stars Rocky Romero and Karl Anderson will not be wrestling on December 16th for IPW:UK.

The duo, who were to be signed in 6-man action alongside the above signed IPW:UK Title match, will no longer be appearing, a decision made by IPW:UK and not the wrestlers themselves, who were looking forward to making their British debuts.

We hope that they will be touring Europe once again in 2008 and we look forward to bringing them to IPW:UK during that time. Refunds are available for those who want them, but must be acquired with haste by emailing daniel@ipwuk.com.

IPW:UK Give The Gift Of Christmas Cheer To All British Wrestling Fans!

» Last year we gave you an extra ticket to bring a friend with you to see our Christmas Cracker – this year we’re giving YOU an extra ticket to see your OWN extra show – the Christmas Cracker afternooner, starting at 3.15 until 4.30!

The second match signed was due to be a re-match of the Four Corners bout in Sittingbourne last month, but due to his big match that evening with ‘Lightning’ Mike Quackenbush, Paul Robinson *declined* the opportunity to compete. As a result, with the three other men happy to get a shot at climbing up the singles rankings - and with Mark Sloan still unpinned, unsubmitted and generally undefeated in singles action in IPW:UK, one more win must surely seal either an IPW:UK Title or All-England Title shot.

As a result, we will see ‘The Specialist’ Mark Sloan vs. Wade Fitzgerald vs. Zack Sabre Jr in a triple threat match!

But there’s a catch – nobody will want to be first man out during this time of good will, as the #1 loser will have to be #1 in March 30th 2008’s Battle Royale match, the annual Over The Top Rope 30 person rumble!

PLUS, a special Christmas Themed 10-man All-In-To-Start-Rumble, featuring the likes of Martin Stone, Paul Robinson, The Kartel, Marty Scurll, Blok Busta and more! THEN after the success of the Question & Answer this weekend with Chris Hero, a special triple Q&A sesh with ‘Lightning’ Mike Quackenbush! AND one more match to be added to the card!

Other News:

-- The Jack Storm/Steve Grey first round BNC match has been re-scheduled to January to allow Grey further time to recover from injury. This is the only reschedule permitted (one per wrestler per round), and as such if Grey is unable to make the date, Storm will advance via forfeit (similarly to Cameron Kraze’s elimination on October 21st).

-- Triple X Wrestling in the midlands have kindly agreed to host the two remaining un-housed first round matches, in Whitton vs. McIntyre and Richie vs. L.Thunder. As the bracketing fell, the winners of those matches will face off against each other in the second round, likely to be on the currently venue-less March 16th date.
