A Top Weekend Of Professional Wrestling from International Pro Wrestling UK
Featuring the UK independent debut of the WWE’s former EUGENE!
- This weekend former WWE star U-Gene will be making his IPW:UK debut as he competes in two matches in two counties across the south of England.
Firstly, see U-Gene take on the loud and cocky LT Summers (w/ Billi Lightning) in singles action Saturday night, at the Mountbatten Centre in Portsmouth (PO2 9QA). Doors for this one open at 6pm, with a 6.30 bell. How will the Portsmouth local cope with the international superstar?
Plus, on the supporting bill see Portsmouth’s own Dan Head, James Tighe, The Thrillers (Mark Haskins, Joey Redman and Ricky Hype), Wade Fitzgerald, Eamon O’Neill, Max Voltage, Norfolk’s Ricky Knight, the largest tag team in Europe The UK Pitbulls and much more!
And, an IPW:UK Title match as ‘The Specialist’ Mark Sloan takes on current reigning and defending champ, Andy Boy Simmonz!
- Then on Sunday night we move up to Orpington in Kent, at the Orpington Halls (BR6 0NN) for another full night of action, with doors opening at 5pm and the show starting at 5.30pm!
See U-Gene take on whoever will face him in an open challenge match against any of the regular IPW:UK roster! Whoever wants to make a name for themselves against a former WWE superstar now has the chance on January 27th!
Plus, the co-main event sees IPW:UK Champion Andy Boy Simmonz go one-on-one for the gold against a legend of the sport, the returning and coming out of retirement for his first title match in over 10 years, none other than British wrestling legend JOHNNY SAINT!. A spectacle to behold, Saint is trying to add modern era gold to his ever impressive list of achievements in the world of wrestling.
And on the supporting bill see top matches from IPW:UK Tag champs the Kartel (Samuels/Frazier), the Leaders of the New School (Robinson, Scurll & Brixton), Martin Stone, The Big Bald Bastards (Ryan/Bones), ‘The Phoenix & much much more.
- But that’s not all – on the Sunday you can make a full day of it. In the afternoon from midday until 3pm, for just £15 we are doing a training session with none other than British legend himself Johnny Saint! Take in 3 hours of this technical wizard’s time, just turn up on the day whether it’s your first wrestling session or your thousandth!
- AND then from 3.30 until 5pm when doors open for the main show, take in 90 minutes of absolutely FREE action, as IPW:UK put on a special free afternoon show featuring ‘The Anarchist’ Doug Williams in singles action, The Thrillers (Haskins & Redman) and much more!
