FCF "Winter War 2007" 15.12.07
New Finnish Heavyweight Champion in the last FCF's show of the year, "Winter War 2007". In the main event "The Canadian Rebel" Starbuck, with Alexi Laiho from the rock band "Childern of Bodom" beats Valentine after a long feud during the last shows, becoming the NEW FCF Champion.
Starbuck speaks about the victory on his
MySpace profile, here are his declarations:
"Last night was an incredible night, let me tell you! With a rabid, hot capacity crowd on hand and magic in the air, I became the NEW Finnish Wrestling Champion, defeating the man who sent me to the hospital one and a half months ago with a broken nose, that being the egomanical Valentine.
When it was all said and done, my good buddy Alexi Laiho from the awesome, world-reknowned metal band Children of Bodom and former European Middleweight Boxing Champion "Idi" Amin Asikainen both held my hands in the air to signal my victory! What a moment!
Even after Valentine got desperate and threw some kind of damned irritating powder into my eyes, I was able to somehow pull myself together and catch my opponent in the jumping spike piledriver for the 1-2-3. It was a magical moment, as I could literally hear every person count along with the referee as I pinned Valentine's shoulders to the mat!
What a great way to both end 2007 and start off the New Year in 2008, as the NEW Finnish Wrestling Champ! Thanks to everyone who came out to support me live, it was definately worth it!"
