Unfortunate news, there are some forced talent changes to the April 19th Doncaster Dome super show.
Firstly, JERRY LYNN has informed 1PW that he has just realised that he has double booked himself for April 19th. When Jerry’s booking from January was re-confirmed for April 19th, Jerry had not realised he was booked that day for a promotion in Germany. Lynn has re-confirmed with 1PW for our October 18th and 19th Third Anniversary Weekender, so at least 1PW fans will eventually get to see Jerry make his return to 1PW.
Secondly TNA have informed 1PW that starting up in March, their Impact! TV Tapings will be moved to Thursday and Friday nights. AJ STYLES is now needed for their TV Taping April 18th in Orlando. 1PW has been working with TNA for the past several days to try to find a travel solution that would enable Styles to make it to Dopcaster for April 19th show time, but there is not one. Sadly Styles will not be able to attend Know Your Enemy now. 1PW remains on good terms with TNA, and we hope to see AJ Styles return to 1PW some time in the future.
Both of these developments are deeply regrettable, and the 1PW Office’s have been working over time to find solutions. With the greatest will in the world, we can not get these two wrestlers to the show.
When one door closes another opens, so they say, so 1PW has opened up some new doors for April 19th. We have been working tirelessly to sign some new talent for the show -
Today added to the card is ROH Standout RODERICK STRONG, who joins fellow No Remorse Corps Member DAVEY RICHARDS, on the April 19th Doncaster Dome super show. Rumours abound that these two ROH stable mates are planning to stick together in 1PW, and that 1PW Officials are currently lining up some potential lethal and definitely super hard opponents for them for April 19th.
TRACY SMOTHERS, a true 1PW Legend, makes his return also on April 19th. The original Wild Eyed Southern Boy was one of the founding wrestlers of 1PW, having competed at our debut event, and many subsequent super shows. Tracy is a 1PW Legend, and he will now be in the house April 19th.
Lastly for today, a truly shocking and controversial announcement -- signed and sealed to appear at Know Your Enemy, one of the most controversial figures in the entire Pro Wrestling world, former WWF Champion and WWE Hall of Famer THE IRON SHEIK will be at Know Your Enemy, and we are going to give him a live microphone !
The truly Legendary Iron Sheik will be participating in a very special “ Up Close with the Iron Sheik “ Q & A and Meet & Greet Session on the afternoon of April 19th ( details forthcoming ) and will also appear on the evening’s card.
So one of wrestling’s most controversial figures comes to Europes most controversial wrestling promotion …. is anyone safe from being made humble ? Your guess is as good as ours.
All this on a card that also features the one and only SANDMAN, current 1PW World Champion STERLING JAMES KEENAN, Open Weight Champion DARREN BURRIDGE, former World Champion ULF HERMAN, and the absolute Best of the British scene, including MARTIN STONE, ZEBRA KID, ICEMAN, MAD MAN MANSON and many more.

These obstacle’s have only made everyone connected with this organisation even more determined then ever that April 19th is going to blow the roof off the Doncaster Dome, when 1PW returns HOME, returns to the arena that started it all, and makes our statement that no matter how many times you kick us, 1PW will always get back up, and give our all to producing the best possible pro wrestling shows.
