Saturday February 23rd 1PW presents the Sixth Underground event, and the seventh live event at the awesomely atmospheric Granby, in Edlington, Doncaster.

MARQUEE OPEN WEIGHT MAIN EVENT SIGNED
Hot on the heels of a red hot weekend at The Granby 1PW Officials have wasted no time to sign a Marquee Open Weight Championship defence for Feb 23rd, as current champion DARREN BURRIDGE will square off against the Hard Bastard himself MARTIN STONE, in what promises to be one of the most competitive and hard hitting Open Weight Championship bouts to date. Stone and Burridge, who broke into the business and trained together many years ago, lead the British representation against the British bashing SJK at the last show’s, and will now go one on one for the coveted 1PW Open Weight Championship.
DAMNED NATION TO PAY
1PW Owner Steven Gauntley has been in seclusion this past week, rumoured to be immensely shook up after the events of the past weekend. 1PWOnline.com has attempted repeatedly to get comments from Steven, but no real explanations were forthcoming. The Chairman is apparently not answering his phone to even closet confidants. Fans have many questions for the Chairman, including the “ protection of investment “ that The Damned Nation intimated at over this past weekend.
The only comment we were able to get from Gauntley by press time was “ I can’t deal with this right now. I need time to think. I promise you though that on February 23rd, if Aisu shows up at The Granby, we will do EVERYTHING we can to end his career, fair play or not “
US INDIE STAR EDDIE KINGSTON TO MAKE 1PW DEBUT
1PW has today announced the signing of one the the fastest rising stars on the US indy circuit, He is known for his brutal feuds with Chris Hero, Ian Rotten and Larry Sweeney, he is a former CZW World champion, the current IWA Mid South Heavyweight Champion, the Last in a Dying Breed, The King Of Diamonds, EDDIE KINGSTON.
Kingston will bring his brand of hard hitting action to the Granby on February 23rd - 1PWOnline.com hopes to find out who will be unfortunate to be his opponent on the night, in the coming weeks.
MYATT GONE MAD ?
1PW Academy Head Coach Keith Myatt has gone completely off the deep end. The formerly trusted 1PW servant since day one, snapped this past weekend, brutally attacking his star student Gary Player, and also his won son Ryan. The formerly beloved “ Old Bastard “ Myatt completely lost the plot, and damn near started a riot in the Granby.
What is next for the now bitter and jealous Head Coach of the Academy, and how will Gary Player, and Keiths other students react to this new side of Myatt ? We shall find out February 23rd.
STEEL AND GENESIS FEUD HOTTER THEN EVER
Adam Steel and Jason Genesis have had issues since last August, when they were the first two men to ever compete on the Underground. Since then Steel had repeatedly attacked Jason in a variety of brutal and vicious ways, including this past weekend, steel press slamming Jason twice into the turnbuckles, and once, all the way from the ring to the Granby floor.
Right now Genesis is hurting real bad from these attacks, but you can assured, you cant keep a good man down forever, and Jason, who some fans consider to be the heart of the 1PW Academy ( and one of the craziest risk takers ever seen in 1PW ) , will surely be gunning for revenge against the unstoppable and unrelenting Steel, who himself has all the momentum in the world after being the only survivor of the Ultimate Academy Elimination Match, coming back from a 3 on 1 disadvantage to take the win. This feud has captivated the Underground fans, but where can it go from here ? Our guess is one of these men probably would literally have to die for this issue to be over.
