- Preview: German Hurricane Wrestling presents "Rise 'n' Fall" -
By David Schmida ( )

German Hurricane Wrestling (GHW) gather its talents this Saturday for their third event in 2011 and present “Rise ‘N’ Fall”.

GHW Heavyweight Champion Patrick Schulz successfully defended his title against his mentor Eric Schwarz at the last event. But as Schulz continued to unleash punishment on his already beaten opponent, Joe E. Legend came to Schwarz’ rescue which certainly didn’t improve the champion’s mood. Now the two will step in the ring with the championship on the line.

In a rematch from GHW’s last show “Hot Collision”, District Champion Tornado Tim has to put his title on the line against Aaron Insane. At the aforementioned past event, the two met in the finals of the tournament to crown the first title holder and it remains to be seen if Insane can pull of the victory this time.

Local hero Eric Schwarz and Austrian colossus Big Van Walter lost their previous respective bouts at GHW. Both men came off second best against the then reigning champion. Now their paths cross and it’s safe to assume that the winner will have very good chances to return to title contention soon.

Axeman from Dresden, Germany will celebrate his debut for the organisation against Carnage. While Axeman lately made a name for himself with stellar performances especially at Westside Xtreme Wrestling, Carnage has the advantage when it comes to experience in the GHW ring as he was part of the promotion since their inaugural event. The winner will receive the honor to face the District Champion for the strap.

Also debuting at GHW will be young prospect Freddy Stahl. He’ll face Chris Rush and Bernd Föhr in a three way dance. Rush’s attitude has changed during the last months and especially after not succeeding in the tournament for the District Title. Föhr an the other hand recently returned from Japan and is surely eager to transform his experience there into success at GHW.

Also announced are “Bad Bones” John Kay and Karsten Beck.
