If something CAN go wrong, it will. Last night and today was no exception.
Forgive me if I ramble a little bit but I am truly pissed off and disappointed at the moment. Last night after the B4W show I ran to Philadelphia International where I caught a USAirways flight to Manchester, UK. I should have known there was trouble right away when I got upgraded.
I arrive at Manchester airport and go through Immigration. BUT I did not have a visa (work permit). I expressed this concern to 3CW a few times before and my worries were correct. When they swiped my passport and the woman says "please wait here". Right then I knew I was in trouble.
A immigration officer comes to me and has a print out of the 3CW flyer that was on the internet and tells me that they got a call from a "concerned citizen" that I was wrestling in the UK without a visa, what I was being paid (which is funny because he was off by 2x), and then proceeded to tell me that if he wanted they could stamp my passport where I could not be allowed in the UK for 3-5 years. Now, tell me how this could happen?
He puts me back on a flight back to Philadelphia at 11am and I just arrived home. Total bullshit. Whoever did this not only screwed me out of a payday, the fans that paid to see me, and 3CW who advertised and sponsored what was going to be my last match in the UK. Is this what the business has come to?
I want to apologize to 3CW and the fans for this. Even though I should have had a visa someone stooging off to immigration is just wrong. Dead wrong. Karma I hope will be a bitch for whoever did this.
