A wrestling show promoted by IWS (Italian Wrestling Superstar) together with Melita, was set to be held at the Malta Fairs and Conventions Centre, MFCC, Ta’Qali, on Saturday, 16th April 2011.
Some important international superstars were announced as part of the roster, including:
- The former WWE United States Champion MVP;
- the first WWE Unified Tag Team Champion and former Intercontinental Champion Carlito;
- WWE NXT Winner Kaval;
- the former WWE Superstar Big Vito;
- Tajiri "the Green Mist", from Japan, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion and ex WWE Tag Team Champion with Eddie Guerrero
But...
Starbuck (who was also announced as part of the event) announced on his blog that the show was canceled due to the war in Libya, as the airspace over Malta is not considered safe.
According to him, IWS promotion said the event would be rescheduled.
